I recently started doing pipeband sidedrumming.
Around this time next year I will be buying my own snare.
Premier Hts 800 seems very nice from what I have heard other drummers play, but Andante seem very nice.
Besides a gretsch drum kit, I also own a premier. I am not brand loyal, I just know that Premier makes great drums. Andante I have read many excellent things about as well. Is the volume "issue," people speak of true? I would think if tuned right, and set up right (as far as same placement/pressure of the snares) , in any capable drummers hands, it wouldn't make much difference.
I was part of another forum, but there isn't much activity to discuss, people aren't on.
I'm from Chicago, Illinois. In the United States, pleased to meet you.
