Position Vacant. Full time piper. Western Australia Police Pipe Band. Band Officer. Level 3 Public Servant.
No formal police experience/qualifications required.
Piper must be of a good grade 2 standard or above and must be prepared to undertake other duties as may be directed.
Expressions of interest, including a current CV, an audition DVD containing 1 x MSR, 1 x Medley & 1 x 6/8 march set, and details of other relevant qualities and experiences are invited from pipers who are interested in relocating to Perth, Western Australia. Playing an additional instrument, having relevant life experience or additional skills is considered desirable, but is not necessary.
An initial six month contract as a Level 3 public servant is offered. No relocation expenses are included in this offer.
The coming year is set to be an exciting one for the band with a major studio album recording on the horizon, attendance at the Australian National Pipe Band Championships confirmed, performances at concerts and high-profile events planned, and all this in addition to a regular performance schedule.
